Former Italian national team player Antonio Cassano is in a hospital due to problems caused by the coronavirus.
It is added that the situation is not worrying, but that he had to be kept in the hospital as a precaution.
His wife said that the former football player received both doses of the vaccine.
“He received both doses of the vaccine,” wrote Cassano’s wife, Carolina Marcialis, adding that her husband had been in isolation since receiving the positive test.
Antonio has been retired since 2017.
He played in Serie A from 1999, with the exception of 2006-2008 when he played for Real Madrid.
He played 39 matches for the Italian national team.
