Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara will miss the upcoming matches of the “Red Fury” in the League of Nations due to injury, the Spanish national team announced.
As things stand, Alcantara suffered a muscle injury and will therefore not be on the list, and coach Luis Enrique has revealed whether he has prepared a replacement for him.
– Before the start of preparations for the matches of the League of Nations, Alcantara suffered an injury to the muscles of his right leg, which will prevent him from playing the four matches of the national team scheduled for this month in the League of Nations – the Spaniards said in a statement.
Enrique will not invite anyone instead than him, and the competition will continue with 24 players present.
At the start of the League of Nations, Spain will play four matches this month. He will meet Portugal in Seville on Thursday, and he will visit the Czech Republic on Sunday. Then, on June 9, she will visit Switzerland, and on June 12, she will meet the same opponent.
“Red Fury” is the vice-champion of the League of Nations, after losing to France in the last final.
