Ajax player Daley Blind terminated his contract with the Amsterdam club, although he had a valid contract until the end of the season.
The sporting director of Ajax, Edwin van der Sar, spoke after the decision to terminate cooperation by mutual agreement and pointed out that he wishes the Dutch representative good luck in finding a new club.
“In the last few days, we have reached an amicable termination of the contract. I hope he will find another club where he will finish his successful career. Together with him, we will choose a match that will be played at the “Amsterdam Arena” where Blind will say goodbye to the fans,” said Edwin van der Sar.
Blind has been a member of Ajax since he was eight years old, from 2014 to 2018 he played for Manchester United, but then returned to the club from Amsterdam.
He won 11 trophies with Ajax. He played for the Netherlands at the World Cup in Qatar, and for the national team of this country he scored three goals in 99 games.
