English expert Dean Smith is no longer the coach of Norwich, and the termination of cooperation was confirmed by the club.
Along with Smith, his assistants Craig Shakespeare and Liam Bramley left the club.
“The club continues to work towards meeting its goals on the field, and the board is convinced that in that sense this is the right decision.” The remaining members of the coaching staff, Steve Weaver and Alan Russell, will lead the team on an acting basis.
The club is working on finding a new manager who will be able to fulfill all of its ambitions and finish at the top of the league.
“We want to thank Dean, Craig, and Liam, who always put the club’s interests first,” the club’s press release stated.
Norwich City is currently fifth in the Championship table with 35 points, but has lost the last two matches.
There is almost half a season left, so Norwich want to find a new manager who can lead them back to the elite. Unfortunately, they didn’t see that in Dean Smith, so he was left out of the engagement.
