Fluminense and Al Hilal will meet in an unexpected but exciting FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final in Orlando. Both teams have already pulled off big surprises, Fluminense beating Inter and drawing with Dortmund, and Al Hilal knocking out holders Manchester City.
Fluminense are unbeaten in ten matches , with five clean sheets in their last six games. They often finish strongly, scoring half their tournament goals after the 75th minute.
Al Hilal are also in great form, unbeaten in nine games, scoring 23 goals. Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou has saved 85% of shots faced in the tournament. They’ve never met Fluminense before but famously beat Flamengo in the 2022 semi-final.
Germán Cano has returned from injury to help Fluminense with a goal and assist. Al Hilal have had four goals scored by Brazilians, including three from ex-Santos striker Marcos Leonardo.
Fluminense will miss Renê due to suspension. Al Hilal will be without Salem Al Dawsari and Aleksandar Mitrović.
