Siġġiewi Montekristo claimed victory in the Blackball Amateur League final with an 11-8 win over Żebbuġ St Joseph.
Żebbuġ St Joseph took an early 2-0 lead, but Siġġiewi Montekristo quickly pulled level. The lead shifted several times throughout the match, but in the second half, Siġġiewi proved to be more accurate, ultimately securing the decisive frame to seal the win.
The team featured Amanda Mifsud, Christopher Busuttil, Samuel Dimech, Teemor Mifsud, Kevin Galea, Victor Camilleri, and Jason Mangion.
Meanwhile, the second final of the week is set to take place today, this time in the Community League, as PL Balzan face San Ġwann Tiki Taka C.
