Men's A keep consistency after two wins in Blackball World Championships

The Men’s team continued to show its consistency in the Blackball world championships when they achieved two more very important victories. The team made up of Mevrick Zammit, Leon Azzopardi, Johan Attard, Ryan Pisani, Lydan Debono, Scott Muscat and Dejan Grech beat South Africa 20-5 and Cyprus 21-4.

There was also a good result from the under 15 team who beat Scotland 8-7 in a very interesting and intense game.

The women’s team lost to Wales 16-9 while the under-18 team lost 14-11 to South Africa. Finally the under 23 team lost 15-10 against Wales.

Meanwhile, tonight we have two highly anticipated finals in which the Maltese will be involved in the doubles competition as Jake Castaldi and Dielyn Edwards will be involved in the under-15 final against Marcel Kusa and Riley Patterson (7pm ) while Christ Mills and Jesmond Schembri play the Masters World Final against Marti Hazell and Graeme Witton (7.15pm).
