Cospicua Rangers clinched the Blackball Federation Cup after defeating Ħamrun 147 A with a score of 13–10 in the final. This match brought together the top two teams in local blackball, meeting for the second time in just a few days following Ħamrun 147 A’s league title victory over the same Bormla side.
The first part of the match was dominated by Ħamrun 147 A, who at one point led 7–4. However, the Bormla team remained patient and managed to turn the score around in their favour.
It was Johan Attard who potted the winning ball, sealing the victory and allowing his teammates to celebrate this success.
Ħamrun’s team consisted of Clayton Castaldi, Gary Carr, Stephen Mangion, Dejan Grech, Leon Camilleri, and Philip Coleiro, while Cospicua Rangers were represented by Johan Attard, Ryan Pisani, Clayton Attard, Clint Grima, and Kevin Schembri.
This match also marked the end of a very intense season for the Malta Blackball Federation.
