Dallas Mavericks basketball player and Slovenian national team member Luka Doncic spoke about the upcoming match between the team from Texas and Real Madrid.
The Slovenian will return to Madrid after a few years. The match between the Dallas Mavericks and Real Madrid will be played at the VizInk Center on October 10, and the NBA did not hide its excitement.
“That means a lot to me. I’ve been thinking about this game since the moment they told me I was going to play there. I grew up in Madrid, learned to speak English and Spanish and how to play basketball, it’s my second home and I’m very excited about coming back,” said Doncic.
The Slovenian captain averaged 32 points, eight assists and 8.6 rebounds in the NBA last year, and despite that, Dallas failed to reach the playoffs.
