Nearly two million tickets sold for FIFA World Cup 2026™

Almost two million tickets have already been sold for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, as excitement builds ahead of the Final Draw on 5 December. Fans from more than 200 countries and territories have taken part in the first two ticket phases, with most tickets bought by supporters from the USA, Canada and Mexico – the three host nations. England, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Argentina and France also feature among the top buyers.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino congratulated fans who secured their seats and encouraged others to apply during the next sales window.

The third phase of ticket sales, known as the Random Selection Draw, will open at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET) on 11 December and will close at the same time on 13 January. This will be the first chance for fans to apply for single-match tickets based on confirmed fixtures, as the match schedule will be released after the Final Draw.

How the third phase works

  • Fans must enter the draw through FIFA.com/tickets.
  • The time of entry during the window does not affect the chances of success.
  • Fans can choose their match, ticket category and number of tickets (within limits).
  • Successful applicants will be notified by email and charged automatically in February.
  • Partially successful applications mean that fans receive some, but not all, of their requested matches.

Supporters of qualified national teams may also apply for PMA (Participating Member Association) tickets, depending on eligibility set by each country’s football association.

Hospitality packages – which include match tickets – are already available at FIFA.com/hospitality.

Later on, any remaining tickets may be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. FIFA reminds fans to buy tickets only through official channels, as tickets from unofficial sources may not be valid.
