Preparing to leave Leipzig: Werner: I am not satisfied with the status, I want to go

Timo Werner, the striker of RB Leipzig, could leave the club as early as January.

The attacker is not satisfied with his status in the club, since he was a starter in only three games this season. Werner played a total of 12 matches and entered the top scorers list twice.

German media point out that the footballer has already informed the club leaders that he wants to leave Leipzig in the winter transfer window, however, it is still unknown where he could continue his career.

Werner has a contract with Leipzig until June 30, 2026. He played 57 games for the German national team and scored 24 goals, and before Leipzig, he played for Chelsea for two seasons.
