Former German tennis player Boris Becker is in huge trouble, and after the prison sentence he was sentenced to for tax evasion and financial malfeasance, he is threatened with new shame.
Because of his problems with the law, Becker was sentenced to two years in prison, and after a difficult three months in the notorious Wandsworth prison, he was transferred to Huntercombe prison, where the conditions of the measure are much “looser” than in the previous one.
However, for Becker, the relief was only temporary because after serving his sentence, a new, even more drastic one is in store for him.
Namely, Becker will most likely not be able to continue staying in Great Britain, where he has been living for the past 10 years, because the British are planning to deport him, the island’s media write.
The possibility of such a thing is also confirmed by the current regulations in that country, which clearly state:
– Any foreigner sentenced to prison will be considered for deportation.
Accordingly, for the time being it seems that Becker will serve his sentence, and then say goodbye to London forever.
