Sabalenka won her first Grand Slam title in Melbourne!

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka defeated Elena Rybakina in the final of the Australian Open and thus reached her first Grand Slam title in her career.

Sabalenka defeated Rybakina 2:1 (4:6, 6:3, 6:4) in the grand final after a great fight and reversal.

By the way, before winning the trophy in Melbourne, the biggest success the Belarusian was the Grand Slam semi-finals at the US Open and Wimbledon.

Bolje Rybakina opened the match and managed to break in the third game. Sabalenka returned to the game in the eighth game, but suffered a new break in the next round, after which Rybakina served without losing a point for the lead in the set 1-0.

A huge fight was fought in the second set. Sabalenka already saved two break points in the first game to break in the fourth and lead 3:1. Rybakina missed another opportunity to break, and after that, she saved two set points in the eighth game, but she failed in the next one and the match entered the deciding, third set.

Again, Rybakina was under pressure, saving break points in the fifth and seventh games, which ultimately proved to be decisive.

Sabalenka got a breakpoint and confirmed it, but Rybakina put up considerable resistance in the last game of the match.
