US OPEN: Djokovic routinely throws out Borna, it's Fritz's turn!

After two and a half hours of game, Novak Djokovic secured a place in the quarterfinals of the US Open.

The winner of 23 Grand Slam titles was better than Croatian Borna Goja with a maximum score of 3:0 – 6:2, 7:5, 6:4 and will play for a place in the semi-finals on Tuesday against the American Taylor Fritz.

From the start of the match, Djokovic was focused as he should be, so he routinely took a 1:0 lead in the first set with a couple of breaks.

In the second set, Goja played a little better, playing game after game until the end, when Djokovic came to the break and took a 2:0 lead.

In the last set, the Serbian tennis player again played significantly better, so the question of the winner was more than obvious.

This is the 13th time that Novak has reached the quarterfinals of the US Open.
