SINNER: A little more pressure, but positive pressure

Jannik Sinner, a tennis player from Italy, did not succumb to great pressure after his victory over Novak Djokovic.

The Italian was better than the Dane Holger Rune with a score of 6:2, 5:7, and 6:4 for first place in the “Green Group” at the Final Masters in Turin.

With this victory, Jannik secured further passage for Djokovic.

“I felt a little pain in my back in the second set, something like a click after one movement, but it passed. Everything is fine with the body. It was important for me to reset after the victory over Novak, to fight from the start, because until now I had not beaten Holger. He served much better since the second set, this is a positive victory,” said Sinner.

Jannik again commented on the great audience.

“A special feeling, a privilege. A little more pressure, but positive pressure. I like being in that situation and I think I’ve handled everything well so far. The crowd gives me a lot of strength, especially when I struggle a bit on the field”.
