PRINCESS OF TENNIS RETURNS: Serena Williams returns to the court at Wimbledon!

Serena Williams, one of the best tennis player in history, announced that she is returning to tennis at Wimbledon.

Serena, the winner of as many as 23 Grand Slams, has not played since last year’s edition of the tournament in London. Then, in the first round, she handed over the match to Aleksandra Sasnovic due to an injury.

The 40-year-old American has won Wimbledon seven times, but currently occupies only 1208 on the WTA list.

Serena hinted at a big return to the field with a photo of sneakers on the grass with the message: “SW and SW19. We have a meeting. 2022, see you there ”.

By the way, SW19 is the code of the postal code of Wimbledon, ie the district within which the tennis complex All England Tennis and the croquet club are located.

In the announcement, Williams also marked Eastbourne, where the tournament before Wimbledon will be played as a form of preparation.

The third Grand Slam of the season starts on June 27, and Williams won the last of her seven titles in 2016, and she also played in the finals in 2018 and 2019.
