Andrea Costa, the deputy secretary, is not in favor of Novak Djokovic playing at the Masters tournament in Rome.
Although Valentina Vezzali gave the green light for Novak to play in Rome, he believes it is not a good decision.
– “I am not convinced of the reasons that Vezzali stated when she said that Djokovic will be able to participate in the Italian Open in Rome. There are rules that must be followed while in force. We must all be equal before the rules. Those who have a large number of fans, who can help us in our efforts to cope with that, have even more reasons to set a real example. So, I am against Djokovic’s presence in Rome. ” – Costa was clear.
