Novak is still the first, Medvedev is seriously threatening

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic started his 358th Sunday at the top of the ATP list today.
Despite the fact that he could not defend his title in Melbourne due to deportation, Novak remained in the first place.

Daniil Medvedev could have replaced him from there, but he was defeated by Rafa Nadal in the final, so the Russian stayed right behind the Serbian ace.

However, even if Medvedev won the AO, the change at the top would follow in mid-February, because the points for the previous “Ozi Open” will be deleted in three weeks.

Novak Djokovic has 11,015 points, while Medvedev is second with 10,125.

Alexander Zverev kept the third position (7,780), and Stefanos Tsitsipas the fourth.

The title at the first Grand Slam of the season brought a shift to Rafael Nadal from sixth to the fifth position.

Mateo Bertini, who is now sixth, also jumped for one place, while Andrej Rublev fell from fifth to the seventh position.
