At the press conference after the victory over Marcos Giron, Rafael Nadal commented on the situation in which Novak Djokovic found himself.
Djokovic was deported from Australia yesterday, and he should land in Belgrade this afternoon.
Nadal first said that he was tired of the topic, and then he gave a short comment in which he did not want to reveal whether he chooses the side of the Australian authorities or the best tennis player in the world in this legal clash.
He set himself in the same way after Djokovic’s visa was revoked for the first time.
“I am just tired of it. When he got his first trial, I said that justice had spoken. Yesterday the decision was different. “I will never be against what justice says,” Nadal said, adding:
“I have always had a good relationship with all my rivals. Life is better when it is. It’s been like this with Novak my whole life. I wish him all the best. The whole situation was a big mess, he is not the only one who made a mistake, but he is also partly responsible. “
