JUST AS THE GOOD OLD TIMES: Murray "flew" on the field and secured the victory at the start of Wimbledon!

British tennis player Andy Murray advanced to the second round of Wimbledon with a 3-1 set victory over James Duckworth.

As a home player, Murray had the honor of playing on the Central Court of the “All England Club Complex” on the first day, and with the support of the audience, he recorded a great victory.

However, the beginning of the match did not “smell” of the triumph of the British. Duckworth won the first set with 7: 5 with one extra break. The former Wimbledon winner, on the other hand, had a ready answer.

Murray opened the second part of the game strongly, and in the fifth game, he reached the break. By the end of the set, he did not lose the acquired advantage and with the result 6: 3, he equalized the match at 1-1.

In the third set, Duckworth could not match Murray, and with two quick breaks and Murray’s safe game, the scoreboard soon stood 2-1.

As darkness slowly descended on the Central court, it was time to lower the curtain on this duel. Murray did not give Duckworth the opportunity to return to the match, he paved the way to victory with one break, and he finished the match of the first round with an ace in the last game.

In the second round of Wimbledon, Murray will be on the right exam, as he will cross rackets with the 20th tennis player in the world, John Isner.
