Former number two Àlex Corretja points out that Rafael Nadal’s goal is clear and that he will be ready for clay.
“The news is that Nadal dropped out of the Top 10 for the first time in 18 years. The least important thing for Rafa right now is his position on the list. Admittedly, it is also true that the more he falls, the greater the chances that he will play Alcaraz or Djokovic in the round of 16. However, he is above that, he has to recover by the clay season and bring back the old feeling in the best possible way”, Corretja pointed out and added:
The main goal of the “Bull from Majorca” will be to win Roland Garros.
“With all due respect to the tournaments in Monte Carlo and Barcelona, Nadal’s goal will be to be the best at Roland Garros. I’m sure he’ll be fine by then, the time he’s taken to recover will be in his favor. You should never leave Rafa out, he always shows that he has something more in him”, concluded Alex Corretja.
