Ranked as the world’s second-best player, Carlos outclassed Italian opponent Lorenzo Musetti, securing a straight-sets victory of 6-3, 6-3 in under an hour and a half on the court.
Alcaraz wasted no time, securing a crucial break early in the first set, which he maintained to comfortably clinch the set and take a 1-0 lead.
In the second set, Carlos continued his dominant play, sealing the victory with relative ease.
