A SHOCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WIMBLEDON: Kyrgios will have to go to court, the reason - an attack on his ex-girlfriend!

Nick Kyrgios definitely can’t run away from scandal, so now he has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and will have to appear in court.

The Australian is playing well at this year’s Wimbledon, where he reached the quarterfinals and will meet Christian Garin in the semi-finals, but the question is how much he will be able to focus on this match because he has received an invitation to court.

Kyrgios has been charged in Australia for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari in December 2021.

According to the Canberra Times, and as reported by Sky Sport, Kyrgios grabbed his then-girlfriend’s hand, was very violent, and that there is clear evidence of this.

Kyrgios’ lawyer pointed out that the Australian is aware of the indictment, and that he will report to the authorities as soon as he finishes participating in Wimbledon.

If the allegations are found to be true, Kyrgios faces a possible two-year prison sentence.

The Australian is the favorite against Cristian Garin and for his victory in the bookmaker Meridian the odds are 1.24, while the odds for the Chilean’s triumph are 4.1.
