Fognini is in big trouble for Wimbledon - all because of the Champions League final

Italian tennis player Fabio Fognini faces a ban from Wimbledon after missing a doping test to attend the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan.

He is a big fan of Inter and traveled to Istanbul to watch the game between his club and City on June 10.

Then doping officials came to his house to perform testing, but did not find the 36-year-old tennis player, “Sportmediaset” reported.

Fognini is now facing a suspension, as it is the second time he failed to appear for a doping test, the British “Express” reported.

The Italian has played 13 times at Wimbledon, where his best result was reaching the third round.

Fognini has not played since Roland Garros, where he reached the third round in singles and the second round in doubles, after injuring a stomach muscle.
