SPANISH DECIDED: Alcaraz is not playing in London!

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has announced that he will not play in the tournament in London next week.

Alcaraz announced himself and announced on social media that he will not perform at The Queen’s Club Championship.

As you know, I was extremely excited to play in Queens, but due to a minor elbow injury I will not be able to. I hope to be there in 2023… See you in a few days in the United Kingdom – wrote Alkaraz.

The teenager from Murcia has had a great year so far, and he has already won three big tournaments – Barcelona and Madrid on clay and Miami on concrete.

At the recently concluded Roland Garros, he was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Alexander Zverev, and it seems that there was a “material fatigue” with Alcaraz.

This year’s Queen’s Club tournament in London is played from June 13 to 19, and it is an overture to Wimbledon, which starts on June 27 and lasts for two weeks.
