Team Malta placed 23rd from 33 teams in the International Transalpine table tennis Tournament held in Bardonecchia, Italy.
The Maltese youngsters Danny Scicluna and Julia Bonnici went on to win against Liguria 2-1. Scicluna was in fine form as he obtained the best results and helped his team to get a most deserved win.
Both players were accompanied by veteran coach Mario Genovese.
