Ben Vella and Matthew Zammit won their respective category as they continued the series of ranking tournaments organized by the Maltese Table Tennis Association.
Ben Vella won the under-11 category when he beat Gianni Garzia 3-0 in the final. Earlier he eliminated Arina Ivanova 3-1 and Owen Tufigno 3-0.
On his part, Matthew Zammit achieved success in the under-15 ranking tournament after beating Danny Scicluna 3-0 in the final. Zammit was very consistent in his games so much so that he did not even lose a single game as he won with an identical score of 3-0 against Sean Gatt, Emil Karapetyan, and Timothy Chetcuti respectively.
