Bormla Subbuteo Club has won the Vienna Grand Prix in Austria, defeating Belgium’s St. Stembert 2-1 in the final to claim their fourth title in the competition.
The Maltese club progressed through the tournament unbeaten, topping Group A with convincing wins over A.S. Hennuyer (Belgium) 3-1, Phoenix (Australia) 3-0, and TSC Royal Kaisermuhlen C (Austria) 3-0. They then swept aside TSC Royal Kaisermuhlen 4-0 in the semi-final before securing the title against St. Stembert in the final.
The 2026 victory completes a remarkable run for Bormla, who have now won the same Grand Prix in 2022, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
In the individual competition held on Saturday, George Ebejer reached the semi-finals in the Open category, while Jason Pisani also made the last four in the Veterans category.
The squad was composed of Jason Pisani, George Ebejer, Wolfgang Haas, and Cristian Haas.
