The Malta Snooker Academy hosted a full afternoon of youth snooker action, highlighting the talent and promise within the local snooker community. The event featured both individual and team competitions, attracting strong performances from several up-and-coming players.
The Under-16 session produced a series of convincing results. Craig Casha, Nick Muscat, Jake Castaldi and Cayden Casha all secured straight-frame victories, each winning their respective matches 2–0. Their performances reflected growing confidence, accurate cue control, and composure beyond their years. These young players are continuing to gain valuable experience in a competitive environment, sharpening their skills with each appearance.
Later in the day, the focus shifted to the Under-21 category, where Gregory Cachia impressed with a composed 2–0 win over Zvailen Busuttil. Cachia demonstrated maturity and tactical discipline, controlling the table and capitalizing on key moments to seal the match.
The evening concluded with a dramatic showdown in the Team Championships, as Team Casha edged past Team Farrugia with a 3–2 victory. It was a fitting end to a competitive day, with all matches played in great spirit.
