Next Saturday the Malta Polo Club will be organizing the King of Spain Cup competition which is the second major honour of the season. Three teams will be taking part in the tournament which is being organized under the patronage of the Spanish ambassador to Malta, His Excellency Jose Maria Muriel Palomino. In fact, Dragonara, Veuve Cliquot and Coca Cola will be competing in this triangular tournament. Each team will have a professional Argentinian player with them which will make the tournament much more competitive.
Gaston Etcheberry, Karl Galea, Jean Vella and Matthew Grech will be part of Team Dragonara, Patricio Ratagan, Matthew Borg, Greg Gera and Max Galea/Simon Psaila form Team Coca Cola while Mariano Lopez, Jeremy Besancon, Ivan Camilleri and Chris Delia are the members of Team Veuve Cliquot.
The competition will take place at the Malta Equidrome in Marsa and everything starts at 11.30am when the throw in is given.
