Birżebbuġa Rowing Club: New Changes and Upcoming Regatta

Birżebbuġa Rowing Club has been making significant changes to their crew, preparing for the upcoming Regatta of Freedom Day this year. They are now focusing on their Category B team.

The club has acquired Spiridione D’Amato and Brolin Genovese from Isla, as well as Kenseley Ciantar, who will be with them for a year, and now they welcome Manuel Magro, Eman Joe Borġ, Damien Attard, and Mel Magro who will form the team for Category B.

For Category A, they will be competing with their smaller boats, Frejgatina and Kajjik.

Aside from preparing for the Regatta, the club has been busy with other projects. After the September Regatta, they continued to renovate their boathouse, and in April, they will start working on a new Board Room and Administration Room.

Recently, they have also started working on their boat, Tal-Pass, for the upcoming Regatta of Victory Day, and will soon start working on their Kajjik.

The Birżebbuġa Rowing Club committee encourages everyone to support their new and competitive team of athletes. They have chosen the best options to ensure that the club remains competitive in their races and financially stable.

The Regatta of Freedom Day will take place on Friday, March 31st, at the Grand Harbour, with the first race starting at 12:30 PM.
