The Sirens Women’s water polo team were crowned BOV Water Polo Champions for 2024.
Sirens assured themselves of the title by beating closest rivals Sliema in their last game of the season, and through this victory obtaining an unassailable 6 point league with Sliema having one more game to play.
With this fourth championship in a row, Sirens have established themselves as the most dominant team in the BOV Women’s Water Polo division in recent years, also winning the BOV Winter league for the last 3 years in a row.
Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta and Randolph Cauchi, Vice-President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta presented the BOV Water Polo Women’s Championship Trophy to the Champions.
