Four first half goals sink Floriana against dominant Vitoria SC

Vitoria SC, the Portuguese powerhouse, demonstrated their dominance over Maltese Premier Division runners-up Floriana with a commanding 4-0 victory at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques in Guimaraes, Portugal.

Following a 1-0 victory in Malta, the Portugese side now made it to the Third Qualifiying Round of the UEFA Conference League with a 5-0 aggregate and now will face FC Zurich of Switzerland.

The home team wasted no time in taking the lead, as Brazilian Kaio Cesar found the back of the net from Mangas’ cross just 8 minutes into the match.

Shortly after, Jorge Fernandes doubled the score off a Tiago Silva corner, followed by a spectacular bicycle kick goal from Ricardo Mangas to make it 3-0.

Vitoria SC sealed their victory with a fourth goal just before halftime, courtesy of another strike from Mangas.
