The Aquatic Sports Association of Malta said in a statement that it had been notified that Mr. Mario Dalli has tendered his resignation from his position as President of the Malta Water polo Referees Association (MWRA).
Mr. Dalli has served with commitment and professionalism, contributing significantly to the management and development of water polo officiating in Malta. During his tenure, he worked closely with both the ASA and the refereeing body to uphold high standards of integrity and
consistency within the sport.
The Association thanked Mr. Dalli for his dedication and service throughout his time as President and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.
Mr. Dalli will continue to represent the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta as a Match Delegate in both and as EA Technical Delegate in European competitions , roles in which his expertise and experience will remain of great value to the sport.
The ASA said it now was lookinf forward to the announcement of a new president of the MWRA and to continued collaboration between our two entities to ensure further growth and improvement to the local refereeing activities and the sport.
