The Malta Tang Soo Do Association has once again showcased Malta’s martial arts talent on the world stage. On November 2nd, 6th Degree Black Belt Master Wallace, representing the association, traveled to Atlantic City, USA, with two students, Natalie Cuschieri and Tristan Busuttil, to compete in an international tournament as part of “Team Europe.”
The competition, which featured top contenders from seven countries, saw Malta’s representatives rise to the occasion. Tristan Busuttil secured an impressive double victory, taking Gold in both Sparring and Forms. Natalie Cuschieri also delivered stellar performances, winning Gold in Sparring, Gold in Forms, Gold in Weapons, and Silver in Breaking. Her exceptional results earned her the title of Overall Grand Champion in the female category.
To top off an unforgettable day, Natalie reached a significant milestone in her martial arts career, successfully passing her 3rd Degree Black Belt examination, awarded by Grandmaster Ki Yun Yi, President of the International Martial Arts Association.
