Holders GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks ended in a 1-1 draw against Floriana Young Stars in the main game of the Challenge Cup, the first competition of the season organized by the Hockey Association of Malta.
After a goalless draw in the first quarter, Żurrieq surged ahead through Christ Agius so that in the fourth quarter Anton Saliba restored parity for the Greens.

Umpires were John Williams and Keith Calleja.
Qormi Daikin achieved a great victory of 11-2 against White Hart.

As the result indicates, Andre Ghio’s boys dominated from start to finish this encounter with White Hart having the satisfaction of scoring two goals.
Luke Bajada scored a hat trick, Julian Zahra scored two goals each while Ayrton Falzon, Juan Sarcia, Steve Tanti, Wyatt Magri, Kyle Micallef and Shawn Dimech were also on the mark.

The under 16 league started, Marsaskala Heat beat Floriana Young Stars 6-0.
Protagonist for the Seasouthsiders was Cayleb Caruana who scored four goals while Shezlyane Galea Calleja and Alessandro Piscopo added the score for his team.
