Maltese hockey official Justine Pace Gasan was involved in the under-21 EuroHockey championship held in Terrassa in Spain.
Pace Gasan had three different roles during this championship when she served as timing judge, scoring judge and even technical official. She was responsible for keeping the time correctly and even taking down the scorers, the substitutions and some cards that were shown to the players by the umpires. In addition, as an official she had a role to check the facilities where this tournament was played and she remained in continuous discussion with the judges of the game.
Meanwhile Spain won the men’s category while the Netherlands achieved success in the women’s championship.
