Charlo Sammut was chosen as the GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks player of the year as last weekend the awards evening was held for those players who distinguished themselves during the 2023/24 season.
This evening was held at Ġnien il-Ġibjun in Żurrieq as the club president Dr. Andrei Imbroll together with the members of the committee, presented a number of awards while thanking everyone involved for another year of progress.
Adam White won the honor of the most improved player at under-12 level while his brother Thomas took the player of the year.
In the under 14 category Ethan Abela was the player who showed the most progress while Chris Farrugia took the player of the year.
The best player in the Hockey 7s was Sean Demarco as two special presentations were made towards the end of the evening when Emanuel Borg was honored for the service he gave to the club in recent years while Alfred Cutajar was rewarded for -his dedication.
