On Friday, September 13, at Montekristo Estate Ħal Farruġ, the Malta Kickboxing Association (MKBA) will host the K1 nationals for Malta Kickboxing. Sixty-two fighters will participate in fourteen different categories and age groups, representing different kickboxing and muaythai clubs throughout Malta. All winners will compete in the upcoming ISKA world championship, which will be held in Vienna in October, as part of the Maltese national team in kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Along with the competitions mentioned above, the event will host three main fights for two prominent titles in Muay Thai and Kickboxing, which include the WBC Mediterranean title and the ISKA Amateur K1 European titles.
Owing to the importance of this great event, MKBA invited Mr. Paul Nicholls to oversee the judging and referral procedures during whole event. The ISKA European Rules Director is Mr. Paul Nicholls.
Additionally, Mr. Paul Hennesey, President of ISKA Europe, will be present at this great event as one of the guests.
