Champions Luxol St Andrew’s Win First Final of Enemed Futsal Premier League After Defeating Swieqi United LEC07 8-6.
It was a tough match where, although Luxol dominated possession, Swieqi had their moments and took advantage of some defensive errors by their opponents, scoring goals and reducing the score margin.
The last 60 seconds were intense as Swieqi intensified their attacks while Luxol’s defense held strong.
Maicon scored a hat-trick for Luxol, with Victor Dias, Jefferson Breno, Everton Veve, Celino Alves, and Luis Henrique who also contributed goals for the winning team.
Swieqi responded with a double from Marcelo Alarcon, while Guillherme Fonseca, Roller Cruz, Karl Luke Schembri and an own goal by Clint Mifsud also got on the scoresheet.
The second final of this competition will be played on Friday, and if Luxol win again, they will secure the title for another year.
