Malta’s fitness community is gearing up for a landmark weekend as the fourth edition of the Hyrox Bi-Annual Race gets underway at Campus Hub. Organised by Junglebox, Warehouse Fitness Studio and supported by Garmin as the official timekeeper, the event is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants, the highest number in its history.
The three-day fitness competition, running from Friday 4th April to Sunday 6th April, will feature a full programme of events ranging from junior races to elite-level contests. Proceeds from the event will be donated entirely to charity, reinforcing its growing reputation not only as a sporting fixture but also as a community-driven initiative.

This year’s edition will see a wide mix of athletes from across Malta and beyond take part in a variety of singles, doubles and relay categories. The weekend kicks off with youth and kids’ events on Friday afternoon, before shifting focus to the Pro Men’s and Pro Women’s singles races later in the evening, widely considered the weekend’s main draw.
Saturday and Sunday will host the bulk of the programme, including competitive doubles, mixed pairs and the crowd-favourite relay events, which are expected to provide some of the most thrilling moments. Sunday’s final events include the Invitational Relay and the podium ceremony, marking the close of what organisers describe as the most ambitious edition yet.
The event will be staged within the urban backdrop of Campus Hub, with top-tier facilities and Garmin’s precision timing systems enhancing the professional atmosphere. Organisers are promising to deliver elite-level competition, community energy, and charitable impact in equal measure.
Now firmly established as a highlight on the local fitness calendar, the Hyrox Bi-Annual Race continues to grow in stature and scale, blending athletic excellence with a strong sense of purpose. MaltaSport will be covering the event with videos and reels on its page over the weekend.
