Max Verstappen and Luis Hamilton are leading a great fight for the title in the Formula 1 championship. Five races before the end, the Dutchman has 12 points more than the British.
The Red Bull driver spoke about his relationship with Louis Hamilton.
- We are both real competitors. The fact is, we’ll never go out to dinner together, but that’s okay. We always want to win on the track, and off the track, I think there is mutual respect – said Fershtapen.
In Silverstone, Verstappen ended up in the wall after contact with Hamilton, while they both finished the race in Monza before the end because the Dutchman climbed on the British car with his own.
- It is true that there were some moments when there was a lot of tension. However, it is all part of the sport. In general, everything is fine between the two of us – said Verstappen.
