Former Formula 1 world champion Damon Hill spoke about the statement of Red Bull driver and current champion Max Verstappen.
Verstappen recently stated that he will not stay in Formula 1 for long unless there are more sprint races, as announced.
Hill had a comment on the Dutchman’s statement.
“Nothing is clear to me. What will he do with himself if he stops driving. However, if he thinks he should let him leave Formula 1 immediately,” said the Briton.
Hill believes that the problem is that Verstappen is not enjoying himself enough, even though he is dominating the championship.
“The most important thing is that you do what you do with pleasure. It seems to me that Max has to find that line, otherwise, regardless of the great results, he will soon give up”, said Hill.
The next race in the Formula 1 championship is scheduled for April 30 in Azerbaijan.
