German carmaker Audi is getting closer to deciding to enter the world of Formula 1 championships.
For a start, their plan is to buy a place from McLaren, and thus their car, which would certainly be further developed in the coming years.
The British rejected the first offer of 450 million euros, and it is now, as it is stated, 200 million higher.
McLaren should definitely take into account the bad start of this season after they took third place in the constructors’ competition last year.
In addition to Audi, McLaren is also cooperating with BMW on the production of electric sports cars.
