The Malta Football Association Disciplinary Commission has handed out hefty bans against several players and officials from Zabbar St Patrick and Mosta FC. This is in relation to the fracas that occurred last weekend in Gozo.
The bans are as follows:
Mosta FC:
Official Muscat Mario € 60.00
Official Farrugia Adrian 4 matches & €50.00
Official Farrugia Tyrone Suspended until 01/04/2026 (1 year)
Player: Emmanuel Prince Chibuzor 2 matches & €350.00
Zabbar St Patrick FC:
Official Quiroga Andres: Suspended until 01/08/2025 (sent-off)
Official Parisi Aniello: Suspended until 01/05/2025 & €50.00
Official Farrugia Anthony: Suspended until 01/11/2025 & €20.00
Player: Haber Justin 5 matches (sent-off)
Player: Strahinja Jovancic 2 matches
Player: Bonilha Felix Wallace 3 matches
Player: Keqi Kristian 3 matches
In a short statement, The Malta Football Association (MFA) informed that earlier today, it received the disciplinary decisions from the Commissioner regarding the players and officials involved in the 360 Sports Malta Premier match between Żabbar St. Patrick FC and Mosta FC.
The MFA also states that charges were issued yesterday against the clubs in question, which will be heard and decided by the Control, Discipline, and Ethics Committee (CDE) in the coming days.
Finally, as previously announced, independently of the above-mentioned proceedings, a disciplinary inspector has been appointed to investigate the incident and, in due course, provide recommendations based on the case.
