Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo could strengthen French Marseille at the end of the transfer window.
As “Sky sports” reports, the Portuguese received an invitation from the former French national team member Djibril Cissé to transfer to Olympique de Marseille.
The British media say that a place will open for Ronaldo in Marseille, since the Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik will leave the French club.
The 41-year-old striker played for Olympique from 2006 to 2009, and scored 37 goals in 78 matches for the club from Marseille.
Cristiano missed most of Manchester United’s pre-season training, as he was dissatisfied with the situation at the Old Trafford club, and his great desire is to play in the Champions League this season.
