UEFA: No comeback for the Russians, yet

The European House of Football (UEFA) will not allow Russian clubs to play in European competitions next season either.

The same is the case with the Russian national teams, reports “Atletik”.

In addition, the hosting of the European Super Cup for this year, which should have been hosted by Kazan, was also taken away from the Russians.

At today’s meeting of the leaders of UEFA and the Football Association of Russia, there were no changes in the decision despite the efforts of the Russian representatives to make it happen.

Let us remind you that Russian clubs and national teams have been banned from participating in all European competitions since the beginning of the war in Ukraine last year.
