The coach of Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel, regrets that Harry Kane’s debut in the shirt of the new club was not crowned with a trophy.
The English striker signed a contract with the Bavarians on Saturday morning, and immediately in the evening he played in the German Super Cup.
He entered the game from the bench, but did not help his team much. In the end, Leipzig won with 0:3, and all three goals were scored by the great Dani Olmo.
“We don’t expect him to be a superhero, just let him be who he is. Top guy, great striker and personality. I’m sorry, we didn’t create enough chances for him.” said Tuchel, and then added:
“I am sure that he will help us a lot. We need his attitude, and with him in the team, games like this will certainly not happen to us.”
Kane signed a four-year contract with Bayern, and Tottenham received around 110 million euros for his compensation.
