Today has been all about Tottenham in the football transfer market. Following the official announcement of Radu Dragusin’s arrival, the Spurs have unsurprisingly allowed Eric Dier to head in the direction of Munich.
There has been prolonged speculation about the interest of the Bavarian giant in the services of the English international, and confirmation has now arrived. It appears that in London, they were simply awaiting the arrival of a replacement for the 30-year-old defender, who will now join former teammate Harry Kane.
Dier will be on loan to Bayern until the end of the season, when his contract with Tottenham expires. The club will then have the option to extend his contract for another season.
Dier is expected to fit seamlessly into Thomas Tuchel‘s tactical plans as a versatile player capable of covering various defensive positions, often even playing as a defensive midfielder. This flexibility could earn him significant playing time in Munich.
