Uruguayan football representative Luis Suarez will continue his career in Mexico’s Cruz Azul or Brazil’s Gremio, reports “Daily Mail”.
The 35-year-old attacker played with the Uruguayan team at the World Cup in Qatar, but this team failed to make it to the round of 16 of the World Cup.
The Uruguayan forward has a contract with Nacional until the end of the year. British media report that Suarez has two options for continuing his career, in Mexico or Brazil.
“We have not reached a definitive agreement. We will talk again this Sunday. I’m telling Grammy fans that we’re not going to let this become a soap opera, like what happened with another Uruguayan player. This situation will be concluded this Sunday”, said the Vice President of Gremio, Paulo Caleffi.
The British media remind that Caleffi was thinking of Edinson Cavani, who negotiated with Gremi, and eventually ended up in Valencia.
